The Indian judiciary is in the midst of an unprecedented crisis which has resulted in rival judges issuing court orders for each other to undergo mental health evaluations.
Power leads to corruption, and absolute power leads to absolute corruption. India's constitutional mechanism is dysfunctional and needs reform. The president should serve one 5-year term and be barred from running again for 6 years afterwards. The heads of the main government branches should be elected in alternating years, and 1/4 of all MPs should face election each year. Laws that are not backed by penalties are not laws, and a constitution which does not allow resistance is not a constitution. The people should exercise their right to resist unjust actions and laws. For details see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
