The estimated number of children aged under 15 in Japan as of April 1 fell by 170,000 from a year before, marking the 36th consecutive year of decrease, the government said Thursday.
Economic problems are invariably the result of political shortcomings. Without good politics you can’t expect to have a good economy. And without constitutional reform, even the gods will be helpless to do anything about it. Comprehensive constitutional reform means a regime change to install a modified semi-presidential system, with a committee-style legislative system and cabinet ministers selected from among committee chairs.
