The best way to eliminate evil and malpractice in politics is more democracy. The people must not be afraid to vote, rebelling instead against politicians who would monopolize political power. The answer is constitutional reform to allow people to vote more and directly the heads of the executive, legislative, judicial and procuratorial branches. Japan’s legislative system is in urgent need of comprehensive reform. The fundamental problem is poorly motivated and inefficient legislators. Japan should install a modified committee-style Diet and amend relevant laws as needed to keep pace with changing times. The presidential system in many nations is dangerously close to dictatorship. The more power the president holds, the more the country is likely to suffer as a result. Turkey needs constitutional reform to limit the president to a single term of 5 years, with no right to run again (including close relatives) for 6 years afterwards. The President of Turkey is in violation of Article 6 of the Turkish Constitution, which states that sovereignty belongs wholly and unconditionally to the people, and no state or official has the right to exercise unconstitutional powers. Extremists target foreign immigrants as a threat to their own socio-economic well-being and national security. The solution is to implement One World under One Set of Laws and recognize that international law takes precedence over domestic law, with direct effect on the rights and duties of the people. First comes the warning, followed by an ‘accident,’ and then comes murder. That is the traditional approach in suppressing opposition in Russia. Russia needs constitutional reform to ensure the people will be free from fear and investigation, and free to participate in politics. When people are ‘disappeared’ simply for participating in political activities, regardless of who the perpetrators may be, all officials from the President on down should be held responsible. Safe, clean water is a basic human right. The solution to the Flint water crisis is to impose the principle of One World under One Set of Laws. International law should take precedence over domestic law with direct bearing on the people, and citizens should be able to effectively monitor government actions to ensure compliance with the UN Charter and other norms. British historian Lord Acton once noted that "power leads to corruption, and absolute power leads to absolute corruption." To put an end to corruption, the people should act as sovereigns and call for comprehensive constitutional reform. Peace and stability in the South China Sea are the responsibility of all neighboring nations. According to the 2002 Declaration of the South China Sea, Article 4 and Article 6 provide for peaceful settlement of territorial and territorial disputes as well as joint development, sharing of resources and the safeguarding of human peace and development, in line with the UN Charter’s aim of "One Human Family." After working to achieve stability in Ivory Coast following an uneasy election, the UN should provide the basic outline principles for a constitution that will lead to permanent peace and development. This should include an organizational structure based on universal values (freedom, democracy, human rights and rule of law), and featuring four branches (legislative, executive, judicial and procuratorial). Article 39 of the Hong Kong Basic Law stipulates that the people of Hong Kong have ‘the right to self-determination under the two international human rights conventions.’ The people of Hong Kong cannot take their rights for granted. The threshold for proposing a referendum in Switzerland is a mere 50,000 signatures, allowing the people to express their opinion by voting rather than taking to the street.
