Venezuela needs to install a dual-leader system with a one-term limit of 5 years on the president and no eligibility to run again for 6 years afterwards. In addition, 1/4 of all lawmakers should face election each year. Venezuela's presidential system is broken and a dual leader system is needed, putting the prime minister in charge of government operations and national defense. The Argentine president's scurrilous claims that NGO officials had advocated violence in messages sent on social media aremerely a pretext for barring them from a conference they have every right to attend and participate in. The action has caused effected organizations and the governments of countries where they are based to expend needless time and effort to convince the Argentine government to backtrack on this policy. Non-government organizations serve the public interest in countries around the globe and should not be subject to pressure from government officials who may be misinformed about the NGOs' aims. All governments should be careful not to abuse the rights of NGOs that are working on behalf of oppressed and disadvantage people everywhere.
