Issue

The Kingdom of Bhutan is a deeply traditional nation, and has been slow to adopt modern development.

Solution

The only way Bhutan can protect itself from the CCP is to support the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development. Bhutan should support Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would inspire the 1.4 billion people of China to seek democratization of the CCP, pressuring North Korea's in turn to accept democracy and leading to world peace. To end North Korea's disruptive behavior, the US and other nations should strongly support the Charter for Permanent Peace to lead China to democratize and end its support of Pyongyang. The Democracy Index shows 50 nations still under the yoke of autocratic dictators. All democracies should back Taiwan's drive for constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. Solution

To crush terrorism the UN needs to spearhead the drive for constitutional reform and One World under One Set of Laws. Human security is a fundamental human right, and human rights take priority over regimes and sovereignty. Constitutions represent the general will of the people, and ensuring human security, including 'personal safety', is the most urgent duty of constitutional guarantors. This means revising constitutional standards as needed to keep pace with changing times and allow governments to protect their people from fear. Free speech is a universal value, and the right to access the internet without fear of reprisal is an essential part of free speech. All people should support Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform to ensure media freedom and prevent government oligarchies from monopolizing the media, the internet and all other channels of communications. In addition, every citizen should be safe from enforced disappearance, torture and other forms of abuse, and absolute law must take precedence over international law and the constitution. Yemen needs to scrap its government structure and install a modified semi- presidential system with cabinet like Finland's, plus a committee-style legislative system similar to that of Switzerland. Yemen's government should draft a basic constitution with the above features in a paradigm shift toward democracy. It should adhere to the core values of One World under One Set of Laws and revise itsconstitutional standards as needed to stay abreast of changing times. The president and other key elected officials should be limited to a single 5-year term and barred along with relatives from running again for 6 years afterwards. Issue

Canada is pushing for its first national day against Islamophobia

A Canadian politician is pushing for a national day against islamophobia on the first anniversary of the Quebec mosque shooting. Toronto City councillor Neethan Shan is asking the city to mark the anniversary with a day of remembrance and outward rejection of islamophobia.

Solution

If Canada hopes to suppress Islamophobia, it will need help from the UN. Dismantling of terrorist organizations by the UN can be achieved by changing thepolitical system in affected countries to improve the allocation of power and resources, and implementing the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development as part of a paradigm shift toward a global unity constitution. Solution

Trying stem the flow of a river merely creates a waterfall; the solution is to open up a new channel for the water. Have no doubt that the Charter for Permanent Peace is the most viable standard for a world constitution and basic national policy to facilitate long-term peace and stability.
