The head of Moscow’s foreign intel service, which masterminded 2016 election interference, supposedly talked to Mike Pompeo about working together on terrorism.

Solution

The US intelligence community should think twice before talking with Russia's spy apparatus about combating terrorism. Russia has never been a problem-solver, it has always been a trouble-maker. The US should support Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would spur the 1.4 billion people of China to seek democratization, pressing Russia in turn to accept real democracy – and world peace would be the result. Accusing the FBI and DOJ of partisanship and conspiracies, the president is setting the stage for a constitutional crisis.

Solution

Jose Rizal, revered as the 'Father of the Philippines', once counseled: 'Today's slaves often become tomorrow's tyrants; believe in the rule of law, not in the rule of man.' The US Constitution is in danger of being abused, and the US version of democracy is far from perfect. The president and other key elected officials should be limited to a single 5-year term and barred along with relatives from running again for 6 years afterwards. And the heads of the main government branches should be elected in alternating years and 1/4 of all lawmakers should face election each year. Issue

US says Syrian government may be developing new kinds of weapons

Trump administration officials have claimed the Syrian government may be creating new kinds of chemical weapons, despite a 2013 agreement to destroy such a program. .

Solution

Syria is headed by a ruthless autocrat who has not hesitated to use his military forces against citizens of his own country. The UN should provide Syria the basic outline for a constitution that will facilitate lasting peace and development. The constitution should include the universal values of freedom, democracy, human rights and rule of law, and organization and elements such as the four branches (legislative, executive, judicial and procuratorial). Solution

Myanmar's human rights problem is worsening as the Rohingya are being mistreated by the military and forced to flee to Bangladesh while journalists covering their plight are being threatened by the government for telling their story. The main problem is that the constitution guarantees the military 40% of seats in Congress with no need for election. In order to protect human rights, Myanmarshould carry out reform to adopt Global Unity Constitutional Standards, and the core values of One World under One Set of Laws, giving international law precedence over domestic law. At the same time, it should install a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet. §1.4 §6.4 §7.3 §8.3

Solution

Egypt should swap its government for a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet like Finland's, plus a committee-stylelegislature similar to the Swiss model. The prerequisite for lasting world peace is global democratization. The Egyptian government should proceed with drawing up a basic constitution with the above features in a paradigm shift toward democracy. It should implement One World under One Set of Laws and revise the constitution as needed to stay in step with changing times.
