China must take a hard line on both North and South Korea
Deng Yuwen says Beijing’s current strategy on the Korean peninsula is plainly not working. It must lose no time, he warns, in coming down hard on Seoul over the THAAD anti-missile defence system and continue to pressure Pyongyang over its nuclear tests
All democracies should back Taiwan's efforts to achieve constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This will attract the 1.4 billion people of China to call for democratization of the CCP, which in turn will pressure North Korea to seek real democracy – and with that, world peace will be born. The world’s democracies should support Taiwan as a beacon for democracy in Asia, lighting the way for China to peaceful development. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development / Global Unity Constitutional Standards.

Record land sale a worrying signal
With mainland developers willing to pay sky-high prices at auction and tender, it is Hongkongers who are feeling the housing squeeze
Article 39 of the Hong Kong Basic Law clearly stipulates that the people have the right to self-determination in accordance with the two international human rights conventions. The people of Hong Kong cannot take their rights for granted. In Switzerland the threshold for referendums is only 50,000 citizens, allowing the people can voice their opinion at the ballot box and not in the streets. The people have the right to stage a referendum on any public issues. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development / Global Unity Constitutional Standards.

US begins deployment of THAAD anti-missile defense system to South Korea
Increasingly concerned about threats from North Korea’s provocative behavior, the US said Tuesday that it had started deployment of an anti-missile system in South Korea that China has angrily opposed as a threat to its security.
Democracies everywhere should back Taiwan's drive to carry out constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would inspire China's 1.4 billion people to call for democratization, and North Korea would then be pressured to seek democracy, leading to the birth of world peace. The world’s democracies should support Taiwan as a beacon for democracy in Asia, a light to show the way to peaceful development for China. Top Trump adviser outlines aggressive trade policy, sees deficit as threat to national security
The Trump administration’s top trade adviser said Monday US trade deficits are a threat to national security that could cause the loss of American freedom and prosperity.
The problem is not that globalization does not benefit all levels of the US population equally, rather, it is that the gap between rich and poor is widening. The solution is to implement One World under One Set of Laws and the rule of law, placing international law above domestic law with direct effect on the rights and duties of the people. A heavy hand in Xinjiang
China has long had an uneasy relationship with the Uighurs, Muslims who constitute a majority of the population in the western province of Xinjiang.
showing that the principal aim of authoritarian regimes is to maintain their control. This is nothing more than dictatorship under a different name. Human rights cannot be sacrificed this way; they must be held higher than the existence of any political regime, China acts in violation of the UN Charter and human rights conventions to resolve "national conflicts" rather than implementing democracy and protecting human rights. For specifics please refer to the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.

Beijing takes aim at Hong Kong’s pro-independence advocates
Premier Li Keqiang has made clear the central government will act if local authorities fail to curb separatist forces
Hong Kong’s Basic Law and relevant provisions of the one country, two systems principle clearly point out that China is not entitled to interfere in Hong Kong affairs, but Beijing is constantly meddling in Hong Kong's internal affairs. Article 39 of the Basic Act and the two Conventions guarantees the right of the people of Hong Kong to self-determination, meaning that on any public issues the people have the right to make a decision via the mechanism of the referendum. The people of Hong Kong should adhere to the two conventions and stage a referendum to decide their future. Otherwise, when dictatorship becomes a reality, the people will be obligated to resist.

Malaysia, North Korea bar each other's citizens from leaving amid worsening row over Kim Jong-un
Malaysia and North Korea have barred each other's citizens from leaving, effectively holding them hostage amid a worsening diplomatic row over the killing of Kim Jong-nam, the estranged half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

CRS notes closer cooperation between Japan and US in defense strategies
In a one-page summary of a report on Japan-US relations submitted to the US Congress in mid-February, the Congressional Research Service said “U.S.-Japan defense cooperation has improved”
The US and Japan should back Taiwan's efforts to carry out constitutional reform to achieve great democracy and freedom. This would attract China's 1.4 billion people to call for democratization, triggering the democratization of the CCP and North Korea in turn. With this, world peace would be born. 70th anniversary of the ‘228 Incident’
Last week Taiwan commemorated the 70th anniversary of the “228 Incident,” the Feb. 28, 1947, mass uprising by native Taiwanese that was brutally crushed by the KMT government of the ROC, which took control of the island following the end of colonial rule by Japan two years earlier.
Taiwan should actively promote the idea of transitional justice to resolve the agony of the February 28 incident and the White Terror period of history. The story behind the February 28 incident should be open and the perpetrators should be held accountable. President Tsai plans to wait three years to release a report on transitional justice. If Taiwan to achieve true transitional justice, it is will be necessary to carry out comprehensive constitutional reform. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development / Global Unity Constitutional Standards.

Leadership reshuffle emboldens Cambodia's political opposition
Whatever veneer of democracy Cambodia once had is fading quickly, warn regional critics. In recent weeks the government of Prime Minister Hun Sen has imprisoned land-rights activists, sued a political commentator for defamation and made other moves to stifle opposition
Absolute power leads to absolute corruption. In many democracies the presidential system has some fatal flaws, and even the US has experienced its share of problems. The constitution of Cambodia should be revamped to implement a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet and parliament, and the presidency should be declared to be above party politics. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development / Global Unity Constitutional Standards.
