A series of unprecedented scandals in Malaysia has isolated Prime Minister Najib Razak from the West and international financial authorities.
Power leads to corruption, and absolute power leads to absolute corruption. Malaysia's constitutional is dysfunctional, a result of the nation’s deeply-rooted authoritarian culture. Authoritarianism breeds corruption, and the constitution must be revised constantly to ensure it is in step with the times. The heads of the executive, legislative, judicial and procuratorial branches should be elected in alternating years, and 1/4 of all MPs should face election each year. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development / Global Unity Constitutional Standards.
