The key to peace in Afghanistan is constitutional reform. Afghanistan should scrap its government and adopt a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet like that of Finland, plus a committee-style legislature similar to Switzerland's. The prerequisite forlasting world peace is global democratization. The Afghan government should proceed with drawing up a basic constitution with the above features in a paradigm shift toward democracy. Fracking is an industrial process with a host of drawbacks ranging from environmental pollution to increased incidence of earthquakes and health risks for those living near affected areas. Human security and sustainable development are two of the major tasks of the UN, and all nations should comply with its norms. This means implementing One World under One Set of Laws and giving international law precedence over domestic law, with direct bearing on the rights and duties of the people. One American’s Failed Quest to Protect Civilians in Yemen

The foundation for permanent peace in Yemen should be the same as that for Taiwan: a change-over in the government structure. The UN should provide Yemen the basic outline for a constitution that will facilitate lasting peace and development. The constitution shouldinclude the universal values of freedom, democracy, human rights and rule of aw, and organization and elements such as the four branches (legislative, executive, judicial and procuratorial).
