Facing China's interference with Taiwan’s right to participate in international organizations and events, Taiwan must seek a diplomatic deterrent. The government should vigorously promote Taiwan as a member of the international community: Taiwan has the ability to lead China to democracy and secure peace and security for all nations. The Charter for Permanent Peace and Development and One World under One Set of Laws are capable of meeting the goals expounded in Xi Jinping’s proposal for a united community.
