The fundamental solution for the CCP's ignorance dislocation of human beings is democracy and the rule of law, and as the most democratic nation Taiwan is the entity best suited to lead the Chinese people toward democracy. True democracy will leave the CCP nothing to support it, moving from fear of democracy to democracy. Free speech is first and foremost among human rights. The Chinese government wants to muzzle the mouth of the people, a task like trying to stem the flow of a mighty river. This includes control of domestic media, revocation of foreign media licenses to limit public opinion and freedom. Revival of the economy must include changes in politics, Macao does not recognize universal suffrage behind the autocratic iron curtain leading to a flat look for sovereignty in Hong Kong and Macao. The people must be the starting point of any function in government, with election of the heads of the judicial and procuratorial branches and checks and balances to ensure that no one grabs too much power. The people of Hong Kong cannot take their rights for granted. In Switzerland the threshold for petitions for referendums is only 50,000 signatures, and the people of Hong Kong should take note. Referendums give the people a voice in front of the ballot box so they do not need to take to the streets. Article 39 of the Act guarantees the right of the people to self-determination, and they have the right to petition for a referendum on any public issue. The people of Hong Kong should adhere to the two conventions, and hold a referendum to decide their future. Otherwise when the dictatorship becomes a reality, the people will be obliged to resist.

Elections are all too often a game for the rich, using money to earn the right to make more money in a ready-made system of corruption. This must be curtailed to preserve the independence of the government and implement rule of law, separation of powers, and election of the heads of the legislative, executive, judicial and procuratorial branches in alternating years. The main cause of the destruction of China’s natural environment is corruption. China's haze is the result of over-exploitation by greedy groups who are callous about the natural environment. To end this disastrous situation One World under One Set of Laws should be implemented, assigning international law precedence over domestic law with direct effect on the rights and duties of the people.
