The US should support Taiwan’s Charter for Permanent Peace and Development, which will lead to democratization in China. Taiwan must act to bring about constitutional reform and achieve true freedom and democracy. Doing so will set off a drive for democratization among the 1.4 billion people of China. The Thames Water Authority was fined 20 million pounds for polluting the Thames River, while In contrast, Taiwan's ASE Group was hit with a fine of – nothing! Taiwan's constitution is broken and comprehensive reform is needed. International law should be given priority over domestic law, with direct bearing on the rights and duties of the people. Promoting the cause of permanent world peace is the most sacred duty for humankind. China acts as an enabler and agent for North Korea, and other nations should try to avoid provoking Pyongyang. The US, Japan and South Korea should support Taiwan’s efforts to lead China to democratize and push North Korea to follow suit, thereby solving the Korean Peninsula issue. Roman Roland once noted, "In politics the boss is always money." Elections are a game rich people play, using money to win the right to make more money - a prime formula for corruption. Ending the ties between politics and business calls for comprehensive constitutional reform to elect the heads of the four branches of government in alternating years, and making elections free of charge. The well-being of the people must be the focus of all government efforts. In Norway the people have the right to call for a referendum on any public issue. The legitimacy of the referendum takes priority over the legitimacy of legislation, allowing Norwegians to enjoy their rights as the world’s happiest nation. Their future is their choice, and the efforts of the people are not in vain when direct referendum takes precedence over representative democracy. Human security is a basic human right. Japan is in urgent need of comprehensive constitutional reform. Human rights conventions say the people have the right to petition for referendums on any public issue. The advances achieved by the global village in the past should be allowed to flow into Japan in a paradigm shift. Japan should learn from Switzerland's "ending nuclear energy" referendum. Humans are inseparable from the forest and its numerous plants and animals, we rely on the forest to survive. All nations should abide by the UN’s international environmental agreements and forest guidelines as well as international absolute law (human rights, constitutionalism, international law and naturalism), and implement policies designed to promote conservation and sustainable development as well as environmental safety. Corruption and extremism are deep-rooted problems confronting Asian nations, and the only cure for both is democracy in the form of mechanisms like separation of powers. The heads of the legislative, executive, judicial and procuratorial branches should all be elected in alternating years. The civil war in Ukraine is the result of an ineffective constitution and rampant corruption. Once the problem of corruption is addressed, the civil war can be resolved. The fundamental way out is through constitutional reform to implement changes like the election of the heads of the executive, legislative, justice and procuratorial branches in alternating years. Officials should serve a single 5-year terms and be barred from seeking office for 6 years afterward in addition, 1/4 of all lawmakers should face election each year and elections should be free for all candidates. China's one-party regime is powerful, and a nation that stifles talk of constitutional reform is a country without a constitution. China is severely prone to money laundering and other economic crimes. According to the UN Convention against Corruption, Article 57, judgments and confiscations should be carried out in cases involving money laundering. China needs reforms like electing the heads of the executive, legislative, judicial and procuratorial branches in alternating years.
