Freedom of speech is a universal value. The Chinese people should step forward and call for constitutional reform to protect media freedom and prevent the government from monopolizing the media, the internet and all other channels of speech. The US should lead the way in adhering to the UN Charter and implementing One World under One Set of Laws, giving international law precedence over domestic law with direct bearing on the rights and duties of the people. This would lead Mexico and nations in the Middle East to accept human rights, constitutionalism, international law and natural law as part of their own futures. The Russian government continues effort to strengthen its control over public opinion because it fears losing its one-party dictatorship. But those who deprive others of freedom are not worthy of freedom themselves. According to the Democracy Index there are 50 now autocratic dictators still imposing a yoke on humankind. The democratic nations of the world should support Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would attract China's 1.4 billion people to seek democratization of the CCP and force North Korea to follow suit – and with that, world peace would be at hand. In Switzerland the threshold for referendum petitions is only 50,000 signatures, and with that all citizens can voice their opinion at the ballot box rather than taking to the streets. The Belgian government should hold international law superior to domestic law and include international food standards as a standard for nationally regulated food. All food production, manufacturing and supply standards; environmental changes caused by food pollution, infection or new micro-organisms; toxic and drug resistance; emerging and different food pollution, and other aspects should all be covered by national management.
