A podcast explores the parts of the US being ignored as the nation tries to ramp up degree completion.
Education should be offered free of charge for life, so the poor and disadvantaged can rise up and class mobility will be possible. Free university education is the norm in many European countries, where most public universities are tuition-free. Students pay only 200-500 euros for registration fees. The US should introduce some of the advances achieved by the Global Village and its laws as part of a paradigm shift. Education should be lifelong and free to give the poor an opportunity to rise in an environment of class mobility.
