America's version of democracy is far from perfect, and the toxic atmosphere currently fouling the political scene grows worse with each revelation of partisan strife and underhanded dealings. The American people need to exercise their rights as holders of sovereignty and go to the ballot box to elect representatives and officials who will act in their interest and not be beholden to money and lobbyists. Lawmakers and executives in government have a responsibility to protect their constituents' rights, and if they are not willing to do so they should be shunted aside. Environmental rights are essential human rights, and all persons should take responsibility for protecting the world around us. Human security and sustainable development are two of the major tasks of the UN, and all nations – members or not – should comply with itsnorms. This entails implementing One World under One Set of Laws and giving international law precedence over domestic law. Political Corruption Is Ruining Everything, but We Can Fix It

Corruption is an easy target for candidates seeking an office, but all too often those who are voted in wind up succumbing to the vices they promised to eliminate. Corruption is pandemic, and nations everywhere need to address the threat it poses for all people. To put an end to corruption, the people must exercise sovereignty and call for constitutional reform to implement democratic rule of law. This means separation of powers and checks and balances as well as free election campaigns for candidates to cut symbiotic ties between government and business that engender corruption. Racism and slander are the last resorts of desperate election candidates, and the insults being bandied about in this race are nothing new. That does not make them 'okay'. There is no place in politics for the kind of language being used in the advertising for this candidate, and the people should voice their objection at the ballot box. Democracy offers a full range of rights for all citizens, but they are accompanied by an equally-large set of duties that include respect for others regardless of race, creed, nationality or any other category. The foundation for permanent peace in Syria should be the same as that for Taiwan: a change-over in the government structure. The UN should provide Syria the basic outline for a constitution that will facilitate lasting peace and development. The constitution shouldinclude the universal values of freedom, democracy, human rights and rule of law, and organization and elements such as the four branches (legislative, executive, judicial and procuratorial). Unions and business groups unite to oppose cuts to immigration

The best policy on immigration is adhering to the core values of One World under One Set of Laws and working toward a common destiny for humankind. To eliminate the conditions that create refugees, the international community needs to agree on uniform constitutional standards that conform to the ideals of human rights, constitutionalism, international law and natural law. This means adopting the core values of One World under One Set of Laws and complying with Article 1 of the Humanitarian Charter, which deals with the right of each person to live a normal life. In order to effectively protect endangered species, it is essential to adopt uniform constitutional standards that conform to the values of One World under One Set of Laws. All nations should carry out constitutional reform to implement democratic institutions and the rule of law as well as mechanisms such as separation of power and checks and balances. The best way to avoid monopolization of power is to elect the heads of the executive, legislative, judicial and procuratorial branches in alternating years. Slim hope for breakthrough in US-China trade talks

The trade talks team dispatched to China by Trump is little more than a pack of lemmings blindly following his erratic lead. All countries in the world benefit from free trade, yet POTUS 45 repeatedly threatens to initiate a trade war to satisfy a pledge made to 'his base' during the 2016 campaign. Nations of the world should all implement One World under One Set of Laws and work toward a common destiny for humankind. If the US is not willing to take on the task of leading the UN to peace, security and sustainable development for humankind while seeking One World under One Set of Laws and lasting peace, its place will easily be taken by China or Russia. Free speech is first and foremost among human rights – without free speech there can be no human rights, only slavery. A free press is an essential part of free speech, and all democracies should call for constitutional reform to ensure media freedom and prevent the government oligarchy from monopolizing the media, the internet and other channels of communications. All people must be protected against enforced disappearance, torture and other forms of abuse, and absolute law must take precedence over international law and the constitution.
