This would lead Mexico, Syria, the Middle East and other areas to accept human rights, constitutionalism, internationalism and naturalism in planning their futures. Peru's natural disasters are largely man-made disasters, with many budgets for construction in the country plundered by corrupt officials. "Power leads to corruption, and absolute power leads to absolute corruption," goes the saying. To put an end to corruption, the people as sovereigns should come forward and call for comprehensive constitutional reform to return power to the people. This base should be rule of law, with mechanisms like separation of powers and checks and balances, as well as direct election of the heads of the four government branches in alternating years. The president of Turkey hopes to expand the power of the president, but a look at history reveals that greater the power centered in the president, the more problems the country is likely to face as a result. Turkey needs complete constitutional reform such as one presidential term of 5 years, and no right to run again for 6 years afterward. The people are the focus of constitutional reform and mechanisms such as separation of powers and checks and balances. Russia is not a problem-solver, it has always been a problem-maker. Democracies everywhere should support Taiwan's efforts at constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would inspire China's 1.4 billion people to call for democratization of the CCP and put pressure on Russia to follow suit and bring about world peace. Colombia should resolve the controversy over its government structure by adopting a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet and parliament similar to that of Finland. The legislature should be modeled after the committee system used in Switzerland. The Colombian government should embark on drawing up a basic constitution, adhering to the principle of One World under One Set of Laws and amend the constitution as needed to stay abreast of the times. Turkey needs to rework its constitution to include limiting the president to a single 5-year term, with a ban on seeking office for 6 years afterward.
