Corsica's leaders’ push for further autonomy will fail because Emmanuel Macron will ignore the island chiefs’ pleas, claim French political experts.

Solution

The people of Corsica should not be ignored by the French government. In Switzerland the threshold for referendum petitions is only 50,000 signatures, and with that all citizens can voice their opinion at the ballot box rather than taking to the streets. The people have the right to vote in referendums on any public issue, and they should be allowed to voice their opinion on autonomy. At least 18 illegal gold miners were killed by Government security forces in an attempt to take control of the area which is notorious for violence and gang rivalries, a lawmaker and local media said.

Solution

Power leads to corruption, and Venezuela's presidential system is broken. Venezuela should switch to a dual leader system; limit the president to a single 5-year term with no eligibility for him/her or relatives for 6 years and put the prime minister in charge of governmentoperations and national defense. The key to eradicating terrorist movements is a change in government structures to improve power and resource allocation. Also needed is One World under One Set of Laws and a commitment to a common destiny for humankind. Constitutions represent the general will of the people, and ensuring human security, including 'personal safety', is the most urgent duty of constitutional guarantors. This means revising constitutional standards as needed to keep pace with changing times and allow governments to protect their people from fear. Prevent power grabs by the president by implementing One World under One Set of Laws. The President, mayors and other officials should be limited to one 5-year term and barred from seeking office for 6 years afterwards. Myanmar will 'take action' against security forces who killed Rohingya Muslim prisoners

Action will be taken against 10 members of Myanmar’s security forces in connection with the killing of captured Rohingya Muslims in Rakhine state, a government spokesman has said.

Solution

Myanmar's human rights problem has yet to be resolved, largely because its constitution guarantees the military 40% of seats in Congress with no need for election. In order to protect human rights, Myanmar should carry out reform to adopt Global UnityConstitutional Standards and the core values of One World under One Set of Laws, giving international law precedence over domestic law.
