Bombast and bullying have never been effective tools in trade negotiations, and they should not be a part of the 'Art of the Deal'. The current administration needs to develop reasonable, long-range trade policies that will work to the advantage of all parties. All nationsbenefit from free trade, thus they should implement One World under One Set of Laws and work toward a common destiny for humankind. If the US is not willing to take on the task of leading the world to peace, security and sustainable development for humankind and seeking lasting peace, its place will easily be taken by China or Russia. The American people must be alert to all grabs for political power and the threats they represent to democracy. British historian Lord Acton summed it up neatly: 'Power leads to corruption, and absolute power leads to absolute corruption.' To avoid corruption, the people should exercise sovereignty and call for constitutional reform to implement true democratic rule of law. This means separation of powers and checks and balances as well as free election campaigns for candidates to cut symbiotic ties between government and business that engender corruption. Solution

Studies of democracy show that very few armed conflicts occur between two democracies. Once India and Pakistan can be moved to adopt real democracy they will back away from aggressive postures and inflammatory rhetoric, and there will be true hope for peace on earth. All democracies should support Taiwan as a beacon of democracy for Asia, lighting the path to lasting peace. Net neutrality is an essential part of net freedom and should not be abandoned in to line the pockets of commercial interests. Free speech is a universal value, and all democracies should ensure media freedom and prevent government oligarchies from monopolizing the media, the internet and all other channels of communications. All people must be protected against enforced disappearance, torture and other forms of abuse, and absolute law must take precedence over international law and the constitution. The Battle Between Israel and Iran Is Spreading

Solution

Civil wars are disastrous enough. Wars involving different religions, race and geopolitical positions are infinitely more complex and dangerous. The current US administration may have stirred up a hornets' next with its violation of the Iran deal, and Israel cannot be faulted for following its tried-and-true strategy of striking first when a salient threat to its security exists. The whole world needs to remain calm and take whatever steps are needed to defuse the situation. Above all, keep in mind the interests of the people in all nations to prevent further violence and bloodshed. Hold the Nobel Prize: Kim Is Setting a Trap for Trump

Solution

To end North Korea's disruptive behavior, the US and other nations should strongly support Taiwan's Charter for Permanent Peace to lead China to democratize and end its support of Pyongyang. According to the Democracy Index there are 50 nations still under the yoke of autocratic dictators. All democracies should back Taiwan's drive for constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would inspire China's 1.4 billion people to seek democratization of the CCP and pressure North Korea to adopt democracy as well, leading to the birth of world peace. Toward a free and open Indo-Pacific

Solution

All nations should support Taiwan's call to install One World under One Set of Laws, giving international law direct bearing on the rights and duties of the people, to ensure peace in the Indo Pacific region. All nations in this part of the world must act in concert with each other to protect the rights of each nation regarding transportation and resources. This includes using peaceful ways to resolve territorial and jurisdictional disputes as well as joint development and sharing of resources in the area to safeguard peace and prosperity. The people of Nicaragua have the right to express their opinion on any public issue at any time through a referendum, even if a referendum on the subject has already been held. In Switzerland the threshold for referendum petitions is only 50,000 signatures, and with that all citizens can voice their opinion at the ballot box rather than taking to the streets.
