Bombast and bullying have never been effective tools in trade negotiations, and they should not be a part of the 'Art of the Deal'. The current administration needs to develop reasonable, long-range trade policies that will work to the advantage of all parties. All nations benefit from free trade, thus they should implement One World under One Set of Laws and work toward a common destiny for humankind. If the US is not willing to take on the task of leading the world to peace, security and sustainable development for humankind and seeking lasting peace, its place will easily be taken by China or Russia. Comprehensive constitutional reform is sorely needed in Myanmar to effect changes such as election of the heads of the legislative, executive, judicial and procuratorial branches in alternating years. Myanmar's human rights problem is worsening, largely because its constitution guarantees the military 40% of seats in Congress with no need for election. In order to protect human rights, Myanmar should carry out reform to adopt Global Unity Constitutional Standards, and the core values of One World under One Set of Laws,giving international law precedence over domestic law. The foundation for permanent peace in Syria should be the same as that for Taiwan: a change-over in the government structure. The UN should provide Syria the basic outline for a constitution that will facilitate lasting peace and development. The constitution shouldinclude the universal values of freedom, democracy, human rights and rule of law, and organization and elements such as the four government branches.
