When the power of the state deviates from its power base, the people must act on their roles as sovereigns to recover power. Laws that are not backed by penalties are not laws, and a constitution which does not countenance resistance is not a constitution. When the actions of the president are unconstitutional, the people are obligated to resist. The people of Turkey should call for comprehensive constitutional reform to install a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet. Power leads to corruption, and UK's prime minister system is broken. UK should switch to a dual leader system; limit the president to a single 5-year term with no eligibility for him/her or relatives for 6 years and put the prime minister in charge of government operations and national defense, 1/4 of all lawmakers should face election each year.
