'Cambodia's Constitution is dysfunctional, and constitutional reform is needed to install a modified semi-presidential system. The president and other key elected officials should be limited to one 5-year term and banned along with relatives from running again for 6 years afterwards, the heads of government branches should be elected in alternating years and 1/4 of all lawmakers should face election each year. Article 35 of the Constitution law of People's Republic of China stipulates that Citizens of the People's Republic of China enjoy freedom of speech, of the press, of assembly, of association, of procession, and of demonstration. Article 39 of the Hong Kong Basic Law stipulates that the people of the SAR have right to self-determination under the two international human rights conventions. The people of Hong Kong cannot take their rights for granted. In Switzerland the threshold for petitioning a referendum is only 50,000 signatures, and with that citizens can express their opinion through the ballot box instead of taking to the streets. Anti-terrorism is all too often conflated with stability. The essence of authoritarian systems is to maintain the regime at all costs, making it tough to discriminate autocracy from dictatorship. China's restrictions on the people's freedom of action go against divine aims, and the one-party dictatorship's ban of 'democracy, freedom, human rights and the rule of law' is opposed to accepted universal values The prerequisite for peace is democracy, and Taiwan stands as a lighthouse for 1.4 billion Chinese people, Taiwan is the one entity best suited to lead China to freedom and democracy. For the time being, the CCP shuts down the human rights for the Xinjiang national minority. It is putting the cart before the horse. China should set up an independent Super National Committee on the Exercise of Human Rights and Citizenship with half the membership of different nationalities. It is assigned by a global human rights organization to oversee the practice of human rights in the country and publish it on a global basis on a regular basis.
