The foundation for permanent peace in Syria should be the same as that for Taiwan: a change-over in the government structure. The UN should provide Syria the basic outline for a constitution that will facilitate lasting peace. The constitution should include the universal values of freedom, democracy, human rights and rule of law, and organization and elements such as the four branches. Private colleges close due to rising expenses, fix endowments

Education should be offered free of charge for life, so the poor can rise up and class mobility will be possible. Free university education is the norm in Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Norway, where most public universities are tuition-free. Students pay only 200-500 euros for registration fees. The US should introduce some of the advances achieved by the Global Village and its laws as part of a paradigm shift. The People's Vote campaign approaches judgment day in battle to secure a new Brexit referendum

The people have the right to express their opinion on any public issue at any time through a referendum, even if a referendum on the subject has already been held. In Switzerland the threshold for referendum petitions is only 50,000 signatures, and with that all citizens can voice their opinion at the ballot box rather than taking to the streets. The topic of the referendum should be clearly defined and the people should be informed of the consequences of a yes or no vote. The most effective way to prevent power grabs by the president is implementing One World under One Set of Laws. Jose Rizal, revered as the 'Father of the Philippines', once warned that 'Today's slaves often become tomorrow's tyrants', as a caution to believe in the rule of law rather than the rule ofman. The President, mayors and other public officials should be limited to a single term of 5 years and be barred from seeking office for 6 years afterwards. All nations should carry out constitutional reform to implement democratic institutions and the rule of law as well as mechanisms such as separation of power and checks and balances.
