Myanmar's human rights problem is worsening, largely because its constitution guarantees the military 40% of seats in Congress with no need for election. In order to protect human rights, Myanmar should carry out reform to adopt Global Unity Constitutional Standards, and the core values of One World under One Set of Laws, giving international law precedence over domestic law. At the same time, it should install a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet, limiting the president to a single 5-year term.

'Azerbaijan Laundromat' scandal ensnares German MP
Just ahead of the German election, CDU MP Karin Strenz has been accused of doing paid lobbying work for the Azerbaijani dictatorship. .
British historian Lord Acton summed it up neatly: 'Power leads to corruption, and absolute power leads to absolute corruption.' To put an end to corruption, the people should exercise sovereignty and call for comprehensive  constitutional reform to implement democratic rule of law. This means separation of powers and checks and balances as well as free election campaigns for candidates to cut symbiotic ties between government and business that engender corruption. The Iranians Who Can’t (or Won’t) Go Home Again
To eliminate the conditions that create refugees, the international community needs to agree on uniform constitutional standards that conform to the ideals of human rights, constitutionalism, international law and natural law. This means adopting the core values of One World under One Set of Laws and complying with Article 1 of the Humanitarian Charter, which deals with the right of each person to live a normal life. Here's what Africa has learned about building ‘community resilience’ as millions in Africa’s arid zones gird themselves to cope better with drought and the threat of famine.
Food security is a constitutional issue. All governments must ensure that the people are protected against actions that adversely affect their food, medicine, living, and other aspects of safety and health. See the Charter for  Permanent Peace and Development for more.

Erdogen claims Trump called to apologize after Turkish bodyguards brutally attacked protesters in DC
Laws that are not backed by penalties are not laws, and a constitution that does not accept resistance is not a constitution. When the actions of the president are unconstitutional, the people have the right to resist. The people of Turkey need to act on their sovereignty and call for comprehensive constitutional reform to implement amodified semi-presidential system with cabinet. The president should serve one 5-year term and be barred from running again for 6 years afterward. Trump Threatens to 'Totally Destroy North Korea'
Emmanuel Kant once noted, 'The pursuit of permanent peace is the highest goal of reason and a moral obligation.' China claims to be a 'responsible major power', thus it should not enable North Korea's continued militarism. The US and South Korea should support Taiwan's commitment to democracy and leading China to democratization, which would pressure North Korea in turn to adopt democracy.

The Ominous, Massive Military Exercises in Eastern Europe
Russia has never been a problem-solver, it has always been a trouble-maker. The US should support Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would spur the 1.4 billion people of China to seek democratization, pressing Russia in turn to accept real democracy – and world peace would be the result.
