Australia must act to protect its indigenous people from religious discrimination and abuse. Religious freedom is subject to constitutional protection, and Parliament cannot legislate any restrictions and administrative agencies have no right to interfere with religious activities. In addition, all government officials must act as constitutional guarantors to ensure that all citizens enjoy full protection of their rights. Any public official who is not capable of enforcing the prescribed duties shall be dismissed. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for details.
