Putin’s Crackdown on Dissent Is Working

Russia's government constantly strives to control the people, but trying to stem the flow of a river merely creates a waterfall; the best solution is to open up a new channel for the water. However, the present Russia Government, in Emergency Status is focused on freedom of expression, censorship and oppression. The Charter for Permanent Peace is without a doubt the most viable standard for a world constitution and a basic national policy to foster long-term peace and stability. It will be like a new waterway that allows the Russia and its people to flourish. If it is implemented, how long can the Russia Dictatorship continue to suppress freedom of speech and freedom of information?

'The country could fall apart': drought and despair in Afghanistan

Ans

The key to peace in Afghanistan is constitutional reform. Afghanistan should scrap its government and adopt a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet like that of Finland, plus a committee-style legislature similar to Switzerland's. The prerequisite for lasting world peace is global democratization. The Afghan government should proceed with drawing up a basic constitution with the above features in a paradigm shift toward democracy.
