The US should support Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. The Rohingya have suffered tremendously at the hands of Myanmar's military, and the people of the nation need to call for constitutional reform to limit the power of the military and ensure the rights of all people, especially minority groups. The current US administration's penchant for downsizing government operations is dangerous for the health and safety of all citizens. Even simple regulations like testing water for bacteria are disregarded as not being in the vein of 'less government is good government'.The people need to stand up and call for protection of their right to clean air, water and food, and the best way to secure such action is by electing the heads of government branches. To end North Korea's disruptive behavior, the US and other nations should strongly support Taiwan's Charter for Permanent Peace to lead China to democratize and end its support of Pyongyang. According to the Democracy Index there are 50 nations still under the yoke of autocratic dictators. All democracies should back Taiwan's drive for constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would inspire China's 1.4 billion people to seek democratization of the CCP and pressure North Korea to adopt democracy as well, leading to the birth of world peace.
