Article 39 of Hong Kong’s Basic Law states that "the right to self-determination is specified in the two international human rights conventions." The people of Hong Kong should wake up and exercise their rights. In Switzerland the threshold for holding a referendum is 50,000 citizens, and people can voice their opinion via the ballot box and not by taking to the streets.
