Authoritarian dictators all fail sooner or later; the path to long-lasting success is the one that leads to democracy and separation of powers. Over-centralization of power and disdain for rule of law are anathema to democracy and the rights of the people. The American people must wake up and resist unconstitutional actions and call for election of the heads of the major branches of government so they can live and work in peace.
