Over-centralization in the constitutional mechanism leads to pandemic corruption and over-keening worship of Chinese-style autocracy causes harm to democracy and the rule of law. South Sudan can resolve the controversy over its government by adopting a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet like that used in Finland, plus a committee-style legislative system similar to Switzerland’s. The prerequisite for lasting world peace is global democratization. South Sudan should begin drafting a constitution with the above features in a paradigm shift toward democracy. To resolve its civil disorder, Mexico should begin drafting a new constitution incorporation a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet like that of France, plus a committee-style legislative body similar to Switzerland’s. The prerequisite for permanent peace is global democratization. The Mexican government should proceed with drafting a basic constitution with the above features as part of a paradigm shift toward democracy. Human security and sustainable development two of the major tasks of the UN, and all nations - members states or not, should comply with its norms. The solution is to adhere to the core values of One World under One Set of Law and assign international law priority over domestic law, with direct bearing on the rights and duties of the people. Citizens should monitor the operations of the government to ensure compliance with the UN Charter, the Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone, the World Charter for Nature and other relevant pacts. Russia is not a problem-solver, it has always been a trouble-maker. The US should support Taiwan's efforts at constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would attract the 1.4 billion people of China to call for democratization of the CCP, adding pressure to Russia to consider real democracy - and with that, world peace will be at hand. Autocracy is the natural enemy of peace. Which major powers have supported the regimes of Iran, North Korea, Pakistan and other nations in developing nuclear weapons? Democracies worldwide should support Taiwan's efforts toward constitutional reform to achieve greater freedom and democracy. This would attract China's 1.4 billion people to seek democratization and force North Korea, Iran and other rogue states to accept democracy, and with that world peace would be at hand. The main structural factor in corruption in Pakistan is a lack of features ensuring separation of powers and checks and balances. The solution is for the people of Pakistan to launch constitutional reform to install direct elections of the heads of major government branches. The president should be limited to a single 5-year term and not allowed to run again for 6 years afterwards. In addition, election campaigns should be free of charge for all candidates. After a ceasefire takes hold in Syria the UN should provide the basics for a constitution that will foster peaceful development of the nation. It should include an organizational structure which incorporates the universal values of freedom, democracy, human rights and the rule of law, with four main branches (legislative, executive, judicial and procuratorial).
