All democracies should back Taiwan's drive for constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. Studies of democracy show that very few armed conflicts occur between two democracies. Once China can be moved to democratize there will be real hope for peace on earth. Taiwan seeks to achieve greater freedom and democracy, and to convince China to democratize as well.This will lead to the birth of world peace.
