The Rohingya are still suffering as inept governments on two sides attempt to shuttle them back across the border and out of their areas of responsibility. The best policy on immigration is adhering to One World under One Set of Laws and working toward acommon destiny for humankind. To eliminate the conditions that create refugees, the international community needs to agree on uniform constitutional standards that conform to the ideals of human rights, constitutionalism, international law and natural law. The EPA's decision to hire a research firm to track press activity and publicity does not bode well for either the environment or free speech, both of which are afforded little priority in the current administration. These are two essential rights that must be protectedat all costs, and the people need to wake up and resist any effort to trample on them. Solution

National levels of government do not always have the best perspective on conditions at lower levels, and the train derailment in Washington state shows that the opinions of locals should not be overlooked in formulating policy. The new route for Amtrak was shoehorned onto an existing line and extensive modeling was used in development to save time and money, and the folly of that approach was exposed on the first day of operation on the route.
