"Uncontested election will shake the foundation of democracy is shaken"- the local council of Japan has merged elections on lawmakers, which is divided into the first round and the second round. Japanese Associate Professor Yamamoto of Naruto University of Education said, "The increasing cases of uncontested election is a serious problem that strongly shakes the foundations of democracy. Local councils are supposed to be places where people learn about democracy. But if this situation continues, learning about democracy in those organs will become really difficult."
