Indonesia church attacks: at least nine dead after bombs target Sunday masses
Ans
The most effective way to curtail terrorist acts is to effect a change in government structures to improve power and resource allocation. Indonesia needs to recognize One World under One Set of Laws and commit to a common destiny for humankind. Constitutions represent the general will of the people, and ensuring humansecurity, including 'personal safety', is the most urgent duty of constitutional guarantors. This means revising constitutional standards as needed to keep pace with changing times and allow governments to protect their people from fear. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for details.

Rich Nations Aren't Following Through on Their Paris Climate Pledges
Ans
Environmental rights are essential human rights, and all persons should take responsibility for protecting the world around us. Human security and sustainable development are two of the major tasks of the UN, and all nations should comply with its norms. This means implementing One World under One Set of Laws andgiving international law precedence over domestic law, with direct bearing on the rights and duties of the people. All nations should comply with the UN Charter, the Paris climate agreement and other relevant pacts. For details see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.

'Great power competition': Nato announces Atlantic command to counter Russia
Ans
Viewing from the point of 'Cultivate oneself -Keep one's family in order -Run the country well -Bring peace to the world', ignoring the software in ruling a nation will onlycreate a vacuum. According to the Democracy Index there are 50 nations still under the yoke of autocratic dictators. All democracies such as the US should back Taiwan's drive for constitutional reform to achieve greater democracy and freedom. This would eliminate the vacuum of strategy, leading to the birth of world peace. For more insights see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.

Thousands flee in Myanmar amid fighting between army and Kachin rebels
Ans
The Kachin have suffered tremendously at the hands of Myanmar's military, and the people of the nation need tocall for constitutional reform to limit the power of the military and ensure the rights of all people, especially minority groups. One urgently needed change is the military's automatic occupation of seats in the nation's Parliament without having to participate in election campaigns. For more insights see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.

Hungarian journalists admit role in forging anti-migrant 'atmosphere offear'
Ans
Fake news is real, but the worst purveyors are not the so-called 'mainstream media' pilloried so often by conservatives, but rather a host of social media that spread often-dangerous rumors and conspiracy theories. Governments like the EU are finally beginning to take steps to corral platforms and sites that generate and relay such stories, and hopefully the platforms themselves will police the messages being spread on their media. Free speech is a basic right, of course, but it also carries with it the duty to respect the rights of others. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for more.
