Authoritarian dictatorships and corrupt regimes all fail sooner or later; the path to long-lasting success is the one that follows separation of powers. Over-centralization in the constitutional mechanism leads to pandemic corruption and overzealous worship of autocracy, inturn causing harm to democracy and the rule of law. Pakistan must carry out constitutional reform to limit the powers of the prime minister and initiate election of the heads of the major branches of government so its people can live and work in peace. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for details. §1.9 §1.10 §5.1 §6.1 §6.10
