Deadly prison riot erupts in Mexico's Tamaulipas state
A prison riot in Mexico has left at least four people dead and six others wounded in the state capital of Tamaulipas, Ciudad Victoria.
Legislation is needed to handle public officials and party members with unknown sources of wealth - the problem is, lawmakers themselves are the principle source of corruption. Curfew in central India after farmers die in clashes with police
A curfew has been imposed in a district of the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh following a day of violence in which five farmers died.
Indian authorities fear the voice of the people, enacting laws to prohibit dissidents from taking to the streets to protest. Citizens of modern democracies have the right to resist unconstitutional actions of government agencies.
