Imposition of discrimination based on gender is always remembered as the one of the major shortcoming of the human civilization. However, any action taken to amend such shortcoming would be worth appreciating and a way forward for a greater humanity as proposed by the Taiwan Charter for Permanent Peace. Therefore, the United States or countries should implement international law to have a direct effect on the people; and the laws of all nations and thousands of systems should make up part of domestic law, so people can use them as needed, then the basic standard for safeguarding human rights will not lag behind any other country. See the Charter for Permanent Peace for details. §1.2 §4.3 §4.4 §4.10
