Promotion of lasting world peace is the most sacred duty of humankind. China is an enabler for North Korea, and North Korea’s militarism must be throttled. China must wash away thousands of years of corruption from its culture," and the only solution is democracy and the rule of law. These are the natural enemies of despotism and corruption, offering mechanisms like separation of powers and checks and balances. The relevant provisions of the One Country, Two Systems doctrine state that China cannot interfere in Hong Kong affairs, but Beijing is constantly involved in internal affairs of the SAR. The One Country, Two Systems approach is obviously not working. Article 39 of the Basic Law guarantees the right of the people to self-determination, and they have the right to call for a referendum on any public issue. The people of Hong Kong should adhere to the two conventions and petition for a referendum to decide their future. Otherwise when dictatorship becomes a reality, they will be obliged to resist.

Jose Rizal, venerated as the Father of the Philippines, once said, “Today's slaves, often become tomorrow's tyrants’; have faith in the rule of law, not in the rule of man.” The Philippine Constitution is in disarray and seriously needs reform. Changes should include adoption of a modified semi-presidential system with cabinet and parliament. The president, mayors and other officials should be limited to a single 5-year term and be barred from running for office for 6 years afterwards, and the heads of the executive, legislative, judicial and procuratorial branches should be elected in alternating years. Human security is a fundamental human right, and human rights should take precedence over all regimes and sovereigns. Constitutions represent the general will of the people, and they should protect human security - including "personal safety" - as the most basic and urgent duty of all constitutional guarantors. This means revamping constitutional standards so they are in step with the times and will lead governments everywhere to protect their citizens from fear. The presidential system is in many ways close to dictatorship. The more power the president wields, the more like the country is to suffer. Turkey needs constitutional reform to limit the president to one 5-year term with no right to run again for 6 years afterwards. The President of Turkey is violating Article 6 of the Turkish Constitution, which declares that sovereignty belongs wholly and unconditionally to the people.
