The only cure for the evils of democracy is more democracy. Publicly-elected representatives must be closely aware of public opinion. 1/4 of all lawmakers should face election each year, and local councilors should serve terms of two years; the heads of the executive, judicial, and prosecutorial branches should be elected, and their qualifications should be the same as candidates for president. The president should serve one five-year term and not be allowed to run again for six years. During this period, all compensation and benefits shall remain unchanged.
