The solution to perennial problems in many nations is a changeover to a semi-presidential parliamentary system like the one in Finland, along with a legislative system akin to the one which serves Switzerland. The prerequisite for permanent peace in the world is global democratization. Yemen’s government should begin by adopting a basic constitution centered on models for democracy, calling for the realization of One World under One Set of Laws, and re-formulating the constitution to match the spirit of the times. For details see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
The Iranian Ambassador to Russia said last month that Tehran is looking for ways to broaden the scope of defense cooperation with Moscow, even in areas that require coordination with the UN Security Council. Iranians would like to purchase a wide range of military-purpose products from Russia, some of which are covered by UNSC sanctions. Moscow has said it is ready to work with Iran in the area of military and technical cooperation. Democratic powers worldwide must support Taiwan in its bid to carry out constitutional reform. When Taiwan enjoys greater freedom under a truly democratic government it will lead the people of China to call for democratization and in turn, will put pressure on Russia to follow suit. For more details please see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
Freedom of expression is a universal value. China's practice of "guarding against the people's mouth rather than preventing the floods" is like trying to create a "one world, one voice" society. The Chinese people have only come forward to re-constitution or a comprehensive constitutional reform, so that universal media, prohibition of government oligopoly, monopoly of the media, the Internet and all other communication channels. Taiwan must move to bring about constitutional reform and true freedom and democracy. Doing so will set off a drive for democratization among the 1.4 billion people of China. This will then spread to North Korea, and with peace on the Korean peninsula the world will be much safer for all. The world’s democratic nations must back Taiwan as a beacon of democracy for Asia which will illuminate the road to peaceful development for China. Any elected public official, including the President must do all he or she can to ensure integrity. If the United States wants to lead the world in maintaining the international order, it must erase the blemishes and shortcomings in the democratic process. If the US does not reform its Constitution, even the basic rudiments of political integrity, morality and courage will all be gone. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
Freedom of speech is a universal value and basic human right. It is a core value of the Constitution. "Trying to plug the mouth of the people is like trying to stem the flow of a river," meaning that trying to control the media by revoking foreign media permits and clamping down on public opinion, is a serious infringement of freedom. Sooner or later, the "one voice" of the government will be disregarded by the people. We advocate the prohibition of government monopolization and monopoly of the media and the internet. The 21st century is the era of globalization, and global democratization is the trend of the times. The Global Village will bring the Great Nature, with peaceful settlement of disputes as a human consensus. The world is constantly changing, and those who go with the trend will flourish while those who oppose it will fail. The UN should support constitutional reform efforts in Taiwan, which will lead to democratization in China and extend its influence to the rest of the world. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
The 2016 US Presidential Election has unearthed many problems including Ignorance, indifference and denial, that must be stopped at once. Systematic apparatus for corruption and manipulation of political powers must be outlawed, and although democracy in its present form is not perfect, so far nothing better has yet been found. The best cure for drawbacks of democracy is an even greater democracy. To make America great again, the key is in constitutional reform. Put a stop to the lavish and wasteful spending of election campaigns which is also a process within democracy. Please refer to the “Charter for Permanent Peace and Development”.
The pursuit of freedom and equality is a self-evident truth. Cuba should recognize this fact and abandon its one-party dictatorship through constitutional reform and the implementation of democratic rule of law. The 21st century is the era of global democratization, when disputes will be settled by peaceful means. No authoritarian regime can stop the pace of progress for human civilization: those who go along will prosper, while those who resist will suffer. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
